"The Gasthof zum Kaiser Friedrich in Bremen is a restaurant named in honor of Emperor Frederick III, the 99-day emperor. The building on the corner of the Lange Wieren and the Landherrnamt in the Schnoorviertel was built around 1630 in Baroque style and rebuilt several times (1750, 1962 and 1971). On the ground floor is one of the oldest restaurants in Bremen, on the upper floors are apartments. On the gable front is a depiction of Emperor Frederick III. on horseback. It is one of the few restaurants in Bremen whose interior has remained almost unchanged for decades and is run independently of the respective operator in the same tradition with predominantly the same regular customers. For a long time, the restaurant also served as a venue for political and business discussions in small groups and was also the main bar of Bremen's mayors and senators.
The building has been a listed building since 1973. "Source WikipediaFurther information at: kaiserfriedrich.de
