    The Kersten-Miles Bridge in Hamburg on the border of the Neustadt and St. Pauli districts leads the course of the Seewartenstrasse, which adjoins Bernhard-Nocht-Strasse, over Helgoländer Allee to the junction of Neumayerstrasse and Venusberg. [The bridge has a length of about 90 meters and a width of about 20 meters across the two-lane carriageway with sidewalks on both sides. It is also part of the ensemble of cultural monuments in Hamburg with property number 30212 / Am Elbpark.Construction of the bridge began in 1895 and was completed in 1897. It was named after the former mayor of Hamburg, Kersten Miles. There are statues of Kersten Miles, Simon von Utrecht (south side), Berend Jacob Karpfanger and Ditmar Koel (north side) on the base of the bridge. The statues were created by Carl Boerner (Miles), Carl Garbers (Utrecht), Wilhelm Giesecke (Koel) and Robert Ockelmann (Karpfanger). It was to become a new main connection between the city center and the suburb of St. Pauli via the former moat of the fortress ring from 1615 to 1625.
    Construction of the bridge began in 1895 and was completed in 1897. It was named after the former mayor of Hamburg, Kersten Miles. There are statues of Kersten Miles, Simon von Utrecht (south side), Berend Jacob Karpfanger and Ditmar Koel (north side) on the base of the bridge.
