Today there is a newly designed fountain on the square in front of the church, which is fed by the public water supply. The pilgrims today take blessed Odile water from a water basin in the church. The local population also calls the Odile water "boron water", a clear indication of the ophthalmic function of the water.

The parish church of St. Odilia Gohr is a uniform of tuff built basilica church from the 11/12. Century with western tower over romanizing porch from 1891-93. Inside it is designed as a three-aisled, flat-roofed pillar basilica, the choir with ribbed vault.
Particularly valuable in this church are the Romanesque baptismal font (12th century) and the Baroque Madonna with standing Jesus. The sculpture is said to be a work of the sculptor Gabriel de Grupello (1644-1730), who works at the Duesseldorf court of the Elector Jan Wellem.
