The large dance linden in Langenstadt fell victim to a storm in 1990 and was replaced by a new one in 1995. Since 2010, the church is being danced in the crown again

In the center of Langenstadt, next to the village inn "Zur Linde", you will find a round of eight sandstone pillars (octagon), which are connected by a stone bench on the ground. In the middle of these stone pillars once stood a large, old lime tree with a trunk circumference of 3.60 m. At a height of about three meters their six strong branches had been pulled aside and were resting on a gilded wreath supported by the stone pillars.
The tree fell victim to a storm in 1989 and was replaced in the same year by a "Krimlinde".
