The Auerberg with its chapel is a landmark on the border of the Allgäu and Pfaffenwinkel. Unfortunately, seen from the north, it goes down in the Alpine panorama. If you look at it from the direction of Füssen, you think you're looking at a model railway hill. From its summit, depending on the location, you have a wonderful view of the Alps with the Zugspitze in the middle or of the Alpine foothills from Kempten to Hohenpeißenberg.

Be sure to climb the tower. You have a great view there.

There are interesting pieces of equipment in the church. A Mother of God by the Allgäu carver Jörg Lederer from 1520. The Rosary Madonna from 1641 hangs dominating over the entrance to the chancel. On one wall is a figure of St. Georg, who is currently assassinating a dwarf dragon, from 1675. There is much more to discover. Well worth a visit, it is indeed a gem!
