The Agoudas Hakehilot synagogue is a great Art Nouveau building and is one of the architectural monuments of France (Monument historique)!
Unfortunately, the building is currently in poor condition.

The building was created in 1913 by the architect Hector Guimard, the Parisian master of Art Nouveau, for the Agoudas Hakehilos (אֲגֻדָּת־הַקְּהִלּוֹת, Union of communities) 1, an association resulting from nine original Orthodox Israelite societies. mainly Russian, chaired by Joseph Landau. It bears witness to the massive arrival of immigrants from Eastern Europe at the start of the twentieth century. The construction is in hollow agglomerated stones on reinforced concrete frames. It was officially inaugurated on June 7, 1914, but it had already been in service since October 1913.
