Hiking Highlight
The Berliner Hütte is a listed building and, due to the imperial furnishings, takes you back to a completely different time. You should definitely have seen it, but due to the size, the individuality and the charming hospitality are totally lost. Sleeping places were totally super (had four rooms + mattress on the floor) but it was definitely the poorest night. Washrooms and showers (three minutes of warm water per shower brand) extremely high quality and new.

Just a great cottage, impressive, considering that the cottage was built in the 18th century. Delicious food, the luxury for us was an Aperol Spritz. 😊 Nice hot showers. Perfect organized, great team.

The location is a dream! The Berliner Hütte is exposed on a small rock tongue in the upper area of the valley floor. If you want to stay overnight, register early.

Great hut with a very long history and great inner rooms that majestically document the age of the hut

This listed alpine club hut is unique in itself. With over 180 beds, it is one of the largest of its kind in the Zillertal Alps. Built in 1879, it is an impressive testimony to the imperial era.

Good stop-over and accommodation at the end of the valley with a view of the glacier.
