Engelsley is the name of the mountain ridge within the Ahr loop below Altenahr. The section of the valley through which the Ahr flows is called Langfigtal. The partly rocky Engelsley has a 293-meter-high peak in the north and a 290-meter-high peak in the south. Both are about 300 meters high, although the northern peak is slightly higher and is marked by a cross with a summit book.
