The Neyetalsperre is of course a highlight on bike mountain bike tours in every season. Whenever you come from: Beware nature and considerately treat the other connoisseurs of this beautiful spot.

The Neyetalsperre is located in the north of the city of Wipperfürth near the village of Neye in the Oberberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The dam was built in the years 1905 to 1908 as a drinking water dam by the city of Remscheid. Several stone tools from the Stone Age were found.
The capacity is six million cubic meters. The Bach Neye is stowed. The dam is a curved gravity dam made of quarry stone masonry based on the Intze principle.More information: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neyetalsperre
