On the humming stone is chiseled mirror-inverted, - "Direction Umpfenbach".
The ravine used to be the only connection to Umpfenbach when the current Richelbach-Umpfenbach connection did not yet exist. The historic ravine was prepared free of charge in 2015 by the committed citizens of Richelbach and is now a beautiful hiking trail.
