Mountain Biking Highlight
It is the oldest mountain church in the Sauerland.
Unfortunately, there are only in the 14-day Ryhtmus services, and thus rarely the opportunity to marvel at the old nor original ceilings painting.
The church is very popular with those willing to marry from near and far.

The Protestant church Wiblingwerde is a Grade II listed church building in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde, a municipality in Märkischer Kreis (North Rhine-Westphalia).The small, two-bay hall church stands on an almost square floor plan. The choir with apse is rectangular, the west tower square. The building dates from the middle of the 13th century. It was first mentioned in 1316 in the Liber valoris (interest book of the Archdiocese of Cologne). The room picture is chapel-like. Heavy round pillars carry the dome-like cross vault in the choir and in the nave. The aisles ending in small wall apses are arched with ridge vaults. The extension of the aisles and the connecting opening to the adjacent tower hall date from the 20th century. Renovations in 1914 exposed wall and ceiling paintings in the apse. They were not restored because of the poor condition of the plaster, but repainted
