The listed Bäkemühle was built in 1357, destroyed several times and rebuilt. In recent years it has housed a restaurant, but now a doctor's office can be found here. The building is also worth seeing from the outside.

The Bäkemühle, built in 1695, once belonged to the Hake noble family and has been saved from demolition several times. Most recently, the landscape gardening company Alpina AG bought the building in order to preserve it. At that time, the historic mill wheel had not been in operation for decades, as the river Bäke had silted up at the end of the 19th century. Alpina AG has stored the wheel, it can be picked up by the new owners at any time, said board member Jürgen Schrabbe when asked by PNN: "The wooden wheel is rotten, but the axle is still fine - and it can certainly be repaired with little effort." However, due to the lack of river water, the bike would have to be operated electronically.
