Calm lake with several small shores. In the immediate vicinity there are a number of forest trails. Bring your own bread, there is no sea cafe. Lying far enough from the city center, houses and streets give way to fields and small streets.

A lake partly surrounded by a real meadow landscape. It is worth a walk around. Surprise is a small Otto Fries memorial stone (aerobatics) on the Malchower side. With a little luck, you will see wild cattle in an enclosure. For anglers it is probably a tip. The bathing is forbidden however.

Malchower See is a super nice surprise that kind of emerges out of nowhere. The bike lanes to and from the water are relatively small and can get a lot of foot traffic, so don't expect to be able to go fast. The lake is nice and peaceful, though, and gets a fraction of the visitors other lakes in the area get.

Beautiful lake in the middle of the park and surrounded by fields and still near the city
