Bike Touring Highlight
The Römerturm is a 1998 built 9.8 m high observation tower in the vineyards northwest of Guntersblum.
About 19 steps of an angled staircase attached to the back leads to the 5.6 m high covered observation deck in the middle of a large round orientation board is attached.
The Roman tower stands near the place where a Roman villa rustica with wine cellar was discovered a few years ago. After being severely damaged in the autumn of 2014 by a wanton explosion, the tower has since been rebuilt and in good condition.
