The Sorpesee is touristically very well developed. Here you can go diving, rowing, sailing, surfing, camping and, which I think is pretty cool, renting tree houses as accommodation (sorpesee.de/nordic-ferienpark-sorpesee/baumhaeuser-am-sorpesee.html). It is easy to cycle along the "Randweg" along the Sorpe shore.

Lake Sorp is always worth a visit. There is a beautiful bike path that runs around the whole lake.
