The Hans-Frieden-Wandersteig is a sloping path that offers a great view of the valley and Merano. The steep and narrow path is one of the highlights of the Meraner Höhenweg. Since it is located between two cable car stations (Vellau / Leiteralm and Hochmuth), it is also very popular with day-trippers and is therefore well attended. Heavily sloping places are secured with ropes. Concentration and a head for heights are required.

Great path with almost permanent panoramic views of the Adige Valley and Merano. Although I tend to be afraid of heights, I hardly had any queasy feelings when hiking through.

Great piece of the Meraner Höhenweg ... Partly very close to the slope ... If someone is very afraid of heights, it is not recommended ... But this makes the view very nice
