Tips

In September 1904, the gaff saver "Hermine" in Hamburg ran for the first time from the stack. Hermione learned over the years several times a change of ownership until it sank in late 1982 in the ice. At great expense, she was salvaged and left to the city of Cuxhaven as a gift. After the repair, it was placed in the current location, where it has since contributed to the maritime urban design.

Beautiful old ship in a small park. Well-preserved Art Nouveau houses across the street.
From here it goes into the pedestrian zone.

The ship and the water next to it are perfect for beautiful photos. The park has benches and rest areas.
