The Alte Flecken, the timbered core of Freudenberg in Siegerland, is a monument of international importance. It was built after a devastating city fire in 1666 completely after the state of 1540 and since then hardly changed. The Freudenberg half-timbered path opens up the picturesque ensemble on a nearly 12km long round trip, which also includes beautiful views over the Freudenberger Bergland.
