From the parking lot follow the HW1 or HW5 direction Gießstein. After 200 m, a narrow path turns left. It goes down the Albtrauf a few meters until you stand in front of the entrance of the cave below rocks.

The cave is easily accessible. The loamy soil, however, can be very slippery if it does not tie itself to clothes and shoes. A flashlight and good footwear are essential. The approx. 5 m high hall has a diameter of approx. 10-15 m. You will find very nice stalactites there. A corridor leads down even further. Overall, the gold hole cave is about 45 m long.

In the winter months from October to March should be for the protection of overwintering animals such. Bats do not enter the cave. It is especially nice when in the evening the warm light of the low sun shines through the entrance into the cave.
