Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The Büchelberg is an area of almost 50 hectares near Münklingen, which was declared a nature reserve in 1939 because of its rare flora and fauna. The striking summit between the Würm and Nagold valleys is also a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the northern Black Forest, the Würmtal at Weil der Stadt and the Swabian Alb. Here also runs a part of the 120 km long Gäurandweg from Mühlacker to Freudenstadt, which connects the Heckengäu with the northern Black Forest.
