The most beautiful part of the route starts here. You drive out of the woods and enter the vast dune landscape of Schoorl. The soft sand is quite technical and heavy. The planks on the ground provide more grip.

The bike loop crosses Julianalaan, a main paved north-south bike path, twice in the middle of the dune reserve. Watch for bike-traffic, it can get busy here.
