At around 72 meters, the Leverkusen Energy Supply Water Tower (EVL) is the tallest building in the city - and one of the most famous landmarks of Leverkusen. The water tower in Leverkusen-Bürrig guarantees a constant water pressure and serves as a storage container: 4000 cubic meters of drinking water are available in two large chambers - this corresponds to seven indoor pools.
Worth a visit; admission is free and possible from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Due to the Corona virus, the water tower season will be canceled this year. This means that the visitor platform will not be opened on Sundays, nor will there be any registered viewing appointments. (Source: evl-gmbh.de/evl-wasserturm.aspx)
