A former monastery of which unfortunately there is hardly anything left. The special thing about the place is the striking Michelsberg, which also gave the monastery its name. There are a few beautiful spots here with a great view over the Werra valley. Veilsdorf Monastery has a great swimming pool and belongs to the municipality of Veilsdorf.
