Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The Wolfsschlucht is a steep side valley of the Nagoldtal near Calw-Ernstmühl. An earth path leads through the gorge near a lively foaming stream with small waterfallsThe Wolfsschlucht is next to the Monbachschlucht near Bad Liebenzell the second of the fascinating rock and waterfall gorges and leads from Ottenbronn to Ernstmühl. It is steeper and wilder than the more famous Monbachschlucht, an adventurous hiking trail on which numerous stone steps are supposed to make the ascent easier, leads up towards Ottenbronn. With its mighty boulders and slabs, the innumerable small cascades and swirls as well as the mossy, fern-covered stones and tree stumps, this wild gorge is definitely a hike and definitely worth a detour.
