On this short section you pass the largest (approx. 650 m long) and deepest (approx. 80 m deep) cave (not accessible) of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Nebelhöhle. In the further course you reach a beautiful gorge with the cave entrance of the "Schlucht" cave. This cave is also inaccessible and quite dangerous. But it is a very spectacular section of the route.
