Old castle ruins are always interesting, so why not visit the Wildenburg when you're in the area?

From the direction of the book comment I drove the cycle path to Preunschen, u then followed the Wildenburg signs. From then on, I had to push the bike, the way it went up steeply, I had to stay a couple of times.
At the top, I was more than rewarded, even from the outside, the ruins look impressive.
Inside you get with a little imagination an impression as it once must have looked.
For example, the great knight's hall with a huge fireplace, the entrance to a pitch-dark cellar, but closed because of collapse danger. Also several beautiful stonemasons are still to be admired.
Unfortunately, the impressive keep and the underground rooms are closed and can not be visited.
All in all a beautiful, old romantic ruin that deserves to be received.

Biggest station of the smartpath. The whole path is worth seeing.
