Great vantage point with sensational views of Frankfurt and the surrounding area. Even in the evening worth the visit, when the skyline is colorfully lit.

Pretty observation pavilion with impressive iron paneling and pretty ornaments, in honor of dr. Dettweiler (1837-1904), the former director of the Falkensteiner lung sanatorium, built in 1896 on the Teufelskanzel. Restored in 1996 by the Heimatverein. The temple was rebuilt from scratch in 2008 by the Broermann Foundation. Inside the temple you can relax on a round bench.

The viewing pavilion "Dettweiler Tempel" is located only a few hundred meters from the castle ruins Burg Falkenstein and Burg Nürings.
He counts for me to the greatest viewpoints in the region! Significantly better pano than Burg Falkenstein!
