The 14th-century Schwarzenbroich Monastery housed the canons of the Order of the Cross until it was dissolved in 1802 as part of the secularization. In 1835, the monastery buildings were severely damaged by a fire and not rebuilt. Today only up to 4 m high wall remainders of the monastery are preserved.

Interesting ruins with many remains of the wall. It may be the remains of the regionally known "Kloster Schwarzenbroich".

This old castle ruin must be seen. It is not much to see but very mystical.
