From the Langenzug bridge you have great views of the Outer Alster to the Telemichel and the Long train to the Osterbek canal. The Langenzug Bridge is one of the first concrete bridges in Hamburg and was clad with shell limestone. This makes it look like a stone bridge. It is 40 meters long and has three passages, the largest of which is 18 meters wide and intended for steamboat traffic. The foundations for guard houses, steps and the landing pads for the passengers can still be seen on the central pillars. It is listed with the number 21684 as a monument in the monument list of the Hamburg Cultural Authority.
The Langenzug Bridge was built between 1909 and 1911 and replaced an iron bridge at this point over the Long Train.
