Since there is no cycle path on this side of the Neckar, you can only drive the federal road. However, this offers a wide hard shoulder, which is also very clean. You can drive safely here. I have also seen no signs that this should be prohibited. There were also many other cyclists on the road :-)

On the other side of the Neckar it is possible to ride a bike. a bit hilly, but still good to drive.
