Our bike tour with the waterfall as destination, we started in the "Camping am Walde". Until the ascent to the waterfall, the tour started leisurely on gravel and bike paths. The mentioned ascent is then not very long, but surprisingly steep. With our all-mountain bikes we could go up about 2/3 of the trail. Then the slope increased steadily and the path was increasingly made of larger, loose stones and became ever narrower. That's why we had to carry our bikes a bit uphill, but with the sight of the waterfall already compensated. Then, after another, short ascent to the west through a forest, followed by a great descent. This starts with a relaxed start, a simple single trail. At the end of this first trail we cross through the forest (here we had a short break, but komoot has led us back to the right way back on the Altfinkersteinstrasse we drove down the short singletrack, which we already mastered the ascent We soon turned right and passed a farmyard, followed by a last short sequence on a tarmac road (barely used - we did not cross any vehicles) .On a farm we left the lane to the left into a forest and reached our peak The last singletrack was really great to drive! Then followed on the way back a short, also fun trail, to the railroad crossing (unofficially - the crossing of the tracks is prohibited!) And then we went back to "Camping am Walde".
Equipment: good bikes, helmet, ev. Schooner, jacket (at the waterfall it can get cold)
Meals: A small snack (for example at the waterfall) and enough water
