    Strolling through the old town of Lauenburg you will find cozy restaurants, small shops and workshops of artisans. Through Lauenburg hillside arose an upper and a lower town. Numerous streets and stairs connect both districts and offer great views and views.
    The center of the old town is the Elbstraße, the oldest street in Lauenburg. Here the business life flourished. Particularly worth seeing are the Church of Mary Magdalene from 1227, the Mensingsche House (Lauenburg's oldest house from 1573) and the "Alte Kaufmannshaus.
    Colorful half-timbered houses, historic steamboats and wonderful views across the Elbe await you in the boatman town of Lauenburg.
    Where once was one of the largest transhipment points in northern Europe, today regularly cruise ships. A special experience is a ride on the more than 100 years old steamboats "Kaiser Wilhelm" and "Elbe". How the life and work on board used to be can be found in the Elbe Maritime Museum.

    beautiful old town. Here you have to bring time, turn off the car and then discover the old town on foot. Then marvel at the Elbe bridge and the beautiful city panorama! Overnight stay. then you can make a walk in the morning and in the afternoon light.
