    The Hirsau monastery already owned at the end of the 14th century. a house in Herrenberg (Tübinger Straße 22), which was used as accommodation for Hirsau monks and as a guest house for the abbey. The houses Schuhgasse 23 and 25 were acquired in the 15th century and the plots were built with grain houses to store and market products from Hirsau properties. No. 23 was built after the city fire in 1635, partially changed in the 19th century, around 1870 elementary classes of the German School were taught here, used as an agricultural business until 1961. The former barn outside the city wall (Tübinger Straße 31/1) belonged originally to the Hirsauer Hof. Today's house No. 25 dates from the 18th century.
