Before the Russian Revolution, Lenin and his wife spent a year in exile in Zurich. They lived in Spiegelgasse, not far from Cabaret Voltaire
During the First World War, Lenin lived with his wife Nadeshda Krupskaja for about a year at Spiegelgasse 14 in Zurich - a plaque on the house commemorates this. He completed the work "Imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism" in Zurich. He spent much of his time in Zurich libraries. On days off, however, he and his wife are said to have loved going to the Zürichberg, lying down on the grass and eating Swiss chocolate. It is still not certain whether Lenin visited the Cabaret Voltaire - the birthplace of Dadaism - but it is speculating whether Lenin was secretly a Dadaist.
When the February Revolution broke out in Russia in 1917, Lenin left exile in Switzerland and returned to his homeland.

For some it is this. There are many buildings worth seeing in Zurich's old town and it is also worth taking a walk in this area
