Who intends to continue biking from Tierser Alpl to the Plattkofel hut should think twice! 80% of the track "Auf der Schneid" are not mobile for the average cyclist, on the one hand because of the many stones on the trail, on the other hand because of masses of mountain hikers who are annoyed. Anyone who tries as we do, who has to carry miles and push postpone and including stupid sayings from the infantry.

The Tierser Alpl is the highest mountain bike point in the region. The path is a well maintained but incredibly steep dirt road. When you're up there, it's really a great feeling. Even downhill it is a challenge, as it is slippery due to steepness and gravel. Good brakes are mandatory here!

Arrived here after the climb of the Duron Pass, a stop to admire the view and to make a slice of cake at the shelter, I would say that it is a must! If you head towards the Schlemhaus like us, prepare psychologically for the next climb of 170m in altitude, not ridable, which leads almost to the top of the Terrarossa! From then on it becomes a playground :)

The focal point between Roßzähnen, Schlern and rose garden. In any case, you can only reach the bike by pushing it
