Nice place to relax. There are high vantage points in two places. Ideal for taking pictures, watching animals or just resting.

The circumnavigation is given as 9 km, too much for us. The part we saw is unique.

The Steinhorster Basin is really a nice destination. I just have to say that I was very shocked by the mass of visitors last weekend. In the first lockdown there were quite a few people who did not adhere to the two-person rule or the distance rules. I'm afraid that this will not be done in this lockdown either. Fortunately, we only drove past and were surprised by the street that was absolutely blocked and that was only reasonably passable in one direction.
