The hill is a mountain range with numerous geological features and an interesting mining history. For example, 23 stations along the geological nature trail provide insights into times long past. The GeoZentrum Hüggel shows geological finds from the region.Since the official opening of the Silbersee tunnel in the hill, the nature and geopark TERRA.vita has been able to guide thousands of guests through the underground vault. Since then we have been offering further guided tours on fixed dates, so that everyone interested has a chance to see the interior views of the mountain between Hasbergen and Hagen a.T.W. to get to know.
