Lovely gravel descent. The best way to do this is from Wentworth and towards Sheffield.

Be careful once you have turned the first left hand corner, the path has a few small steps and I've almost bent a wheel a few times! Once you get to the bottom, you can escape onto the road by turning right, or turn left for a steep, chunky gravel climb.

FYI - If you're on a suitable (mountain) bike and want to stay off-road, straight across from the first section of this is another route through the woods, uphill over some serious tree roots initially but eventually bringing you out at the top end of Thorpe. On Komoot as 'Hesley Bar Woodland Track'.
