Gohliser Schlösschen

The construction began in 1755-1756 in the style of the Baroque. Today the castle is used for concerts. There is also a restaurant in the castle.

In the years 1755/56, the Leipzig councilman and council builder Johann Caspar Richter (1708-1770) built a summer palace in the village of Gohlis, northwest of Leipzig. The land on which the building was built was created by merging two adjoining farm estates owned by Christiana Regina Richter, the owner's wife.
