The former and now quite dilapidated forester's lodge is being renovated - the city of Dortmund has made a utilization concept and the "northward project". The house will be renovated by the non-profit company Grünbau, the future users should be forest and wood NRW, the county hunters Dortmund and the beekeeper association Derne. They have set themselves a common goal: to protect and deal with nature and the environment through engagement and community-based education. First steps of the renovation are already to be observed in May 2018.
