The "Eifel-Blick" are an initiative of the German-Belgian Nature Park
and from Rureifel-Tourismus e. V .. There are particularly beautiful viewpoints in the Eifel.
The Hirschley lies at an altitude of 512 meters above sea level. From here there is an impressive panoramic view of Lake Rursee and the steep slopes of the north bank.
Since the national park was founded in 2004, natural forests have been able to develop again on 110 km². The mountain range of the "Kermeter" with its typical beech indoor forests, which was the largest nature reserve in the region with an area of over 3,000 hectares, was one of the core areas of the national park.
