From Hintertux you can still pass the Tulfer Alm. A beautiful disused pasture. Milk was produced here in the past.

The Grieralm (1,787 m) is located on the mountain pasture of the same name above the Tux Valley with the valley town of Tux-Hintertux in the Zillertal. It is idyllically located on the Tyrolean Griersee. The mountain restaurant is surrounded by the three-thousand-meter Realspitze and the almost three-thousand-meter Grierer-Kar and Napfspitze. The local mountain is the Höllenstein, which ends 2,874 m above the Tuxertal.
Day trippers, active hikers and tobogganers come to the alp. In winter, a 5 km long and illuminated toboggan run leads from the Grieralm, which guarantees large and small tobogganists an extensive ride and fun into the valley. The approximately 90-minute ascent with the toboggan in tow can be exchanged for an ascent with the toboggan taxi. Especially in summer, the Almsee is a place to relax the alpine surroundings. The music of relaxation on the alp comes from the bells of the grazing cows.
