In 1957 the bee museum was opened, it was closed from 1973 on because of dilapidatedness. It has been reopening since 1994 with a brief break. An interesting destination.

If you go on Sundays, that is just before Weimar not only at 36 degrees a real highlight to stop.

Is Germany's oldest and in my opinion the best museum of its kind. Nice cafe there.

The museum is very interesting, the garden and café are freely accessible and the farm shop has countless types of honey and beeswax / honey / propolis products on offer.
