Saxon Switzerland offers something for everyone. If you like it, you can hike along the Kirnitsch (on the road). If you want something more challenging, you will find the right one on the nature trail Flößersteig right next to the Kirnitsch. Sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
Even for bikers the National Park holds tours ready.
I wish you a lot of fun and a great pleasure in the Saxon Switzerland

Good footwear and sure-footedness required. Do not commit in the rain!

We hiked the part in the rain. Was not a problem but only thanks to our good shoes. A really nice route.

Here the path goes along the river. You sometimes have to climb up or down with chains and railings. Therefore, sturdy shoes should also be put on.

Tricky section with slippery rocks. Needs surefootedness. There are enough chain supports to hold on to. A little difficult but fun.

A very nice path that is very difficult in places and has a few climbing passages ready

Follow the Flößersteig from Bad Schandau for a while along the Elbe to the Kirnitzbrücke and then through Bad Schandau. Later, part of the path is congruent with the Malerweg until it branches off to the Schrammsteinen. After the junction, the Flößersteig becomes a little more uncomfortable and difficult. But is well secured by chains and hooks.

The Flößersteig begins in Bad Schandau as a wide path, created for the spa guests of bygone days. But it quickly becomes a beautiful trail through the forest with a few climbing passages always along the river. It was fun, only the car noises from the mostly nearby road cloud the hiking experience a bit.

For adventurous hikers who also want to do a bit of climbing, this path from the parking lot "Nasser Grund" in the direction of Bad Schandau is suitable. However, caution is advised in wet weather, as the rocks can be quite slippery.
