Arco do Rua Augusta

a triumphal arch in the center of Lisbon. It is located on the north side of Praça do Comércio and forms the beginning of Rua Augusta, the center of the Baixa Pombalina.

Triumphal Arch of Rua Augusta is impressive if you walk through the busiest pedestrian street in Lisbon.
Now you can visit the top of this unique monument and have unique and impressive views of the Baixa de Lisboa and the Tagus.
It symbolizes the strength of Lisbon after the fury of the earth, fire and sea that consumed it in the earthquake of 1755.

From the Arc de Arco da Rua Augusta Arcade, there is Praça do Comércio and Tejo River, and Baixa Old Town on the other
