The Kindelsberg (the landmark of the Krombacher brewery) is one of the highlights north of Kreuztal. The ascent is exhausting, but above you can then recover from the hardships.

A rather inconspicuous spot in the immediate vicinity of the Jagdberg.
The highest point is a little further off the beaten track. The sign was brought forward some time ago.

These basalt cliffs are an impressive natural monument.
A very nice circular hiking trail, the Trödelstein path, leads from the Buchhellertal.

There is a nice circular route around the dam. The path has no significant gradients and is therefore also recommended for families.
