Attractions around Trechtingshausen

Very nice goal. You can hike here or combine this with the ring ticket (seilbahn-ruedesheim.de/touren/ring-tour/). Then you can hike, cable car and boat trips for a small price. From or to Rüdesheim via Assmannshausen.

The bridge is part of the RheinBurgenWeg from Trechtingshausen to Bingen. It is well maintained and spans a valley of approx. 20 meters deep. The length of the bridge is about 50 meters. A small highlight on the hiking trail.

You are never alone along the Hasselbach. Out of numerous trees, a curious forest ghost observes. There are over 60, including witches, goblins, elves and trolls, the creek leads past almost all of them. Who can find them all?

The former Raubburg Reichenstein, above Trechtingshausen, is on the left bank of the Rhine. The castle is home to a museum of valuable art treasures.

The Zollburg Pfalzgrafenstein stands on a Rhine island in the amount of the wine village Kaub. From Kaub can be translated with a passenger ferry to the island. A visit is highly recommended and becomes a lasting memory.

Beautiful view. One of the loveliest in the Niederwald and not so crowded compared to the monument.

Super to driving bike path with a beautiful view of the Rhine and the Palatinate Rhine. Several benches invite for a little break.

About 100 meters in front of the castle Rheinstein is the viewpoint Kleiner Turm. Great view of the castle, the Rhine and Bingen.

Great area. The view of the opposite side of the monument is really great. The boat trip to Rüdesheim is also worthwhile.

Very nice view of the mouse tower and the castles in this loop of the Rhine. You can also see the Niederwald Monument here. Departure options for river tours by ship in the immediate vicinity. Cozy beer garden.

The castle is wildly romantic in the vineyards, but also easily accessible by car. Here you can taste the wine.

Rüdesheim am Rhein is a town in Germany's Rhine Valley, known for its wine production, especially Rieslings.

At the lower end of the marble run you will find (if no one has stolen it) wooden balls that you can send down the marble run and enjoy caroms and slaloms.

My tip: buy a cheap ticket for ten! This is also valid on the other ferries in the "Fährbund Mittelrhein". Especially recommended for group trips.

Small wine village on the Rhine. More contemplative than the larger neighboring Rüdesheim. A cable car leads to the heights of the Rhine, the former Niederwald hunting lodge, game reserve, Rosselruine, Niederwald monument, St. Hildegard Abbey, Aulhausen and so on.

The Morgenbachtal is closed since 2016 (!) Because of the breaking off path. However, it is quite manageable ..... 😉
