Here, too, is one of those oddly shaped rock castles that are so often found in the Fichtelgebirge. On the highest of these leads a staircase that allows a clear view on the clearest days to Weißenstädter See.

Wonderful, natural path directly on the White Main. Moss-covered rocks, cheerfully rippling, crystal-clear water... you can really start dreaming while hiking. Although that is not so cheap, since the path requires a lot of attention.

Very nice restaurant which is very nice on the Fichtelsee. The food is good and reasonably priced for the location.
