On the way to the Rusenschloss you will find a first lookout cliff with a great view of the Blautal valley and Blaubeuren near Sonderbuch.
Hidden behind a fallen memorial, a cozy bench invites you to take a break.

First to the "Great Grotto", then over the Tugendpfad (upper or lower does not matter) to Blautopf and then back through the monastery complex to Blaubeuren - beautiful and varied hike.

The mere fact that the water surface stands still while 1,600 liters of water run out of this basin / pot per second is unbelievable.

A great place where the Lauter rushes like a stream over several steps and small waterfalls. Here it is worthwhile to get off the bike and let the untouched nature work on you.
