From the medieval splendour of its picturesque villages and the 78 miles (125 km) of delightful shoreline to the panoramic hills and jagged mountains that dominate the landscape, there’s a trail for everyone.

Experience Garda’s verdant south, where the olive groves, vineyards and lemon trees of the gentle Morainic Hills provide luscious ambles. Discover the trails high above its eastern shoreline on the imposing ridge of the Gruppo Del Baldo, culminating in the 7,283 foot (2,220 m) summit of Monte Baldo.

In the north, the lake carves its way into the muscular, bristling Brenta Dolomites. For the most exposed, exciting and exquisite hikes around Lake Garda, this is the place to be. You’ll have to scrape your jaw off the floor once you’ve finished taking in the immense vistas on this, the threshold of the Alps.
